Sado Self-Drive Touring with Kodo—Exploring Ogi and Shukunegi
Join the members of Kodo for a virtual driving tour around Sado. They’ll take you to places they often go and places they’re visiting for the first time. As they drive, you’ll see some of Sado’s many charms and a different side to the Kodo members than you get to see on stage.
We’ll start our tour in Ogi, Kodo’s home area!
Synopsis of the video:
This one’s for the history and culture buffs! Explore Ogi, the center of Earth Celebration, and the closest town to Kodo's and their taiko center.
Check out the Marine Plaza, bamboo crafts, and walk around caves along the coastline all while learning about the history and culture of Ogi.
Then, zip on over to Shukunegi, a beautifully preserved little fishing village on the island to hear about the history of Sado’s unique boats.
