Dance WS “Dance to ‘Shunpuu’ with Chieko” (Workshop Full)
Get ready to move to Kodo One Earth Music track “Shunpuu” with Kodo’s queen of dance, Chieko Kojima. Chieko will teach you the fun choreography she created especially for this EC workshop, which focuses on expressive hand and arm movements and dancing with a folding fan. Shunpuu means “spring breeze” and, like Chieko, it’s a breath of fresh air! Let the lively taiko beats and flutes whisk you away into Chieko’s feel-good world of dance.

Participant Requirements：Ages 6 & over (ages 6 to 12 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian)
Participation conditions: The workshop will require to have access to a PC/laptop, tablet or mobile device that can run ‘Zoom’ (video communication tool).
Regarding workshop participation:
-One week before the workshop date, participants will be sent an email with links to video content that will include some simple workshop introductions and practice material.
-Where possible, please have a look at the video content and practice a little before the workshop day!
*Please note that the live workshops will be mainly conducted in Japanese, however, there will be English support available.

- Tickets go on sale on Jul. 1 (Wed) 7:00 am (JST) and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

- How to Take Part
- ①Get ready for the Workshop!: Once you receive the practice material, have a look and try it out!
②On the day of the WS: Participate in the online live workshop on either of the specified days!
③During EC: Sometime during the EC live stream across the 3 days of EC, we will share some stories of what actually went on in the workshops. Perhaps there might been be a special collaboration between the participants and instructors!
