EC Archives—The Early Days
Earth Celebration began in 1988 and ever since we’ve welcomed a wide range of guest artists to perform and collaborate at the festival. Until 2015, the main events at EC were the Shiroyama Concerts, held high on the hill in Shiroyama Park. For EC 2020 online, we’ve condensed a selection of EC archive footage from the 90s into this 30-minute programme. We hope you’ll enjoy famous, memorable scenes from EC’s history along with set-up footage and interviews where Kodo members reflect on the past.
